This relates to natural moral and spiritual states of man.the holy quran has indicated three separate sources of these three states.in other wordsit has pointed out three different springs out of which these respective states flow. First source: the self that incites to evil the first spring which is the source of all natural states is designated by the holy quran the NAFSE AMMARAH, which means the self that incites to evil..suurat yusuf aayat 54..ina nafsa la'amaaratun bisuui... second source:the reproving self suurat al-qiyaama...walaa uqsimu bilnafsi al-lawaama.....aayat 30.... third source:the soul at rest suurat al-fajr..aayat 28-31...yaa'ayatuha alnafsu al-mutma'ina irjacii ilaa rabikii raadhiyatun mardhiya....
