It is so hard for a black man living in the west - the language the culture of the west is hard to adjust to; however, if you have a white woman willing to help a black man - is that wrong? He can advance more with her than with a black woman. Is this a bad thing to say or is it just a fact of life that we must deal with? |

Brother Jama a good question indeed,For so long the black family have been viewed by the western cultures as non productive family,When European Americans came to America both men and women struggled together to make America what it is today of course you can argue this and say"that if it wasn't for those slaves from Africa America wouldn't have existed one must remember that it was inafact the white American family who was behind every successful event in this country,Men worked in the house,field.kept their eyes on the slaves,Women also worked hard.
Now is marrying a white woman a step forward or a step backward is a tough question my poor brother.
I know it's hard to let go of your cultural values for the sake of progress in this society.I yell the yea.

What is it that keeps the black family from progressing as the white. In America even the black men are having the same problems with their women as Somali men are. But when they get a white woman some how they change for the bettter. Black women complain that black men get successful and then get a white woman but I think it is the other way around, white women make black men successful. So the real issue is why???
You can look at the discussion groups here for the answer of why the black man and the black woman can't get along. Always fighting and argueing. But what gives the white woman the special insight to please her man and to keep him strong while a black woman is always trying to bring a brother down? You can see the battles between black men and women in these discussions and know for a fact that there is not a chance of anything productive developing.
Is the white woman really the salvation of the black man - is she really the best kept secret? |

We as men need to know that our women are for us and not what we can give them only. There is a saying that a black woman would go with a gorilla if he had money! How true that statement could be?
You know your self and dont lie, you dont want a guy who has nothing to offer you but himself? Well a white woman will accept a black man as himself and work with him and love him to without the need of future rewards.

how can we measure success? When our attached value labels, our women being a 'draggers' to our own success. the point I perceived uttered by most of you, that our survival (on the west) depend upon the meeting of (white female)which she will indeed elevate us men and lead us to progressing life. contrary, if we mate with our own, they would delay us.

I think the trend among black men is to go with white women. They love black men and we love them too.
Somali women might say to me that I am black and skinny and ugly but white women love those characteristics that black women reject.

YOu 2 represent what I mean about black women. First you condition me into thinking that I am black and ugly now you tell me it is my own fault because I have low-self esteem. Everyone needs feedback in their life - they have to see themselves through other peoples eyes as well as their own.
I have wanted a Somali woman as a girlfriend but I never could get one - too ugly I guess? But now I have white women who are attracted to this ugly face - who tell me that I am beautiful. They love me and respect me. But to the somali woman I am the ugly duckling - good conditioning!

What can I say? All women need love and men too. Black women exploit their young and become more agreeable when they get older. As long as they stay young and pretty they dont care about Somali men but when they get older then they realize that they made a mistake in their youth.
