It's a shame that people don't stick to other forum pages. I came here hoping to read something interesting about Somali women, but what do I find? A bunch of posts by people who forgot or are trying to forget their sense of identity and religion.

All the profanity is it really necessary? Why are many of us working hard to sound like Black Americans? We are Somalis, we are Muslims, we have a distinctive culture and identity! It's a real shame.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone would be interested to join a little circle/club? I wanted to talk about Somali women today, what their accomplishments are, Somali mothers, the worries Somali women have, things like that. If you're interested, Holla!
