Sisters
I have a question for you. What do you think about woman competing in Athlietics? Do you think it's OK for woman to compete in the Olympics for example? Do you think that Qur'anic interpretations indicating that woman can not compete are too narrow or correct? As you may or may not know, the Somali Olympic team has a woman competing in track and field. Do you support this or consider her to be immodest? |

I don't consider anyone a modest or immodest through their work.. I support the notion of FREE WILL.. If she chooses to compete... then she would be someone representing my country n I would support her.. However if we look at the Islamic version... Allah does not permit majority of the stuff we, as women, do.. therefore there is no point in critizing woman who goes to track.. |
