A222 | Wednesday, January 24, 2001 - 02:24 pm Some girl You don't have to love all Somali men but try to find just one who is a good muslim. Then, you never worry about your love any more! |
some girl | Wednesday, January 24, 2001 - 03:06 pm To A222 1.thanks for your comment I am not talking about loving all somalian men, but I mean is that when you fall in love with one and you tell them how you feel about them they think you are not telling the truth. Peace |
SAHRAALI | Thursday, January 25, 2001 - 06:36 am DEAR SIS THE PROBLEM IS NOT THAT THEY DON'T BELIEVE U, BUTMOST OF THEM REALY DON'T HAVE THE CONFIDENCE TO BE WORTHY OF YOUR LOVE. SO SIS THEY HAVE TO BE CONFORTABLE IN THEIR SHOES BEFORE YOU MY DEAR DISHOUT THE LOVE POTIONS. GOOD LUCK TO U |
A222 | Thursday, January 25, 2001 - 09:43 am Some girl You too In Somali traditional about the process of marriage, girls never expose(display) their falling love with guys, but they give hints and tell them to see their parents(ladies' prents). So, now guys can believe that ladies love them truely. Look! ladies, Watch out! If you ignore the tradition, you will stress in it!! |
Qadar | Thursday, February 01, 2001 - 08:07 am DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO PROVE HIM HOW MUCH U LOVE'EM...MAYBE THAT MIGHT HELP EVEN IF IT'S RISKING UR LIFE FOR THEM.....TRUE LOVE NEVER DIES... |

Ismail H. | Sunday, February 04, 2001 - 12:55 pm First and foremost “some girl”, u should change the title u gave to this topic. It must be: “Why don’t the Somali men I met believe when you tell them that you love them more than anyone else?” Yes in deed, we ought only to talk about at this point the men u have known and conduct themselves that way, even thought I don’t know the full story about urself. As a matter of fact, it’s unwise to generalized or tell stereotypes about a race, group of people, or a society. Everyone is unique. Although, I feel for u sister. I know, it ain’t easy to tell someone that u love them. Not to mention that they turn their backs on u and repudiate the love u are offering. However, that is not a motive to accuse all Somali men of unkindness, cruelty, and heartlessness. Besides, if u let someone know that u feel affection for them and they doubt u, that means they don’t feel the same way about u and therefore they will put on masks to conceal those feelings if they don’t wanna be truthful with u. And if they are straightforward with u, they will tell u. Once again, I don't have the full picture of ur love life so I can't be more precise. Nevertheless, u gotta know that love is all about trust and respect. Moreover, if they acted that way, they ain’t worth ur love. There are a lot of terrific guys out there. U mustn’t surrender and most importantly u gotta maintain hope alive, ur shining prince is around the corner. |
