(SomaliNet) Vietnam wants to hold a donor conference for Angola due to enormous challenges ahead in the national reconstruction programme.
The Vietnamese ambassador to Angola, Nguyen Dinh, who was speaking on the fringes of the enterpreneurial forum for Angola, said that the country has been making an effort to keep positive its economy and policy seeking to guarantee people's well being.
The diplomat stressed that Angola needs to enjoy the credibility of international community so that it can reach its free development. Political and economic relationship between Angola and Vietnam dates back to about 20 years.
Vietnam imports a yearly volume of about Usd 50 million with rice as the main product with over 40,000 tonnes.
According to Nguyen Dinh, apart from rice, computing equipment, civil engeenering, health and clothing among others are the prefered products by Vietnamese businessmen.
