(SomaliNet) Somali's powerful Islamic Courts angrily reacted on Friday the warning of the US embassies in Kenya and Ethiopia to American citizens in the region against possible attack from extremists in Mogadishu, accusing Washington, Addis Ababa and Nairobi of preparing bomb attacks in their countries in order to blame on Islamists.
Sheik Abdirahin Ali Mudey, the head of information and communication department of Islamic Courts, said in a news conference held today in the capital that both Kenya and Ethiopian governments are seeking an excuse for US military action on Somalia.
"We have received an information confirming that Kenya and Ethiopia intelligences are involving in terrorist operations targeting Americans and then to cast the responsibility of these attacks on Islamic Courts," Sheik Ali Mudey to reporters in ex information ministry building in the capital. "Our intelligence found out that the three intelligences are planning terrorist acts that might allow US government to launch an attack on Somalia,"
He said former government intelligence men are now working with Islamic Courts.
Sheik Ali Mudey denied the US warning reports to its citizens as baseless and fabrication saying it is only for making bad image on Islamic Courts to the international community.
He told that Kenyan and Ethiopian governments should stop uneasy acts in their borders with Somalia massing troops at the boundaries.
In other words, when asked how the Islamists see the musicians since they had already banned them to sign publicly, Sheik Mudey said that people had wrong perception about Islamic Courts and the Islamists are welcoming the musicians for role in the society.
He said the Somali musicians should turn their songs into pro-Islam sayings and stand for encouraging people to fight against Ethiopian invaders.
Urging Somalis to die for the defense of their country, he quoted part of popular Somali patriotic song 'he who goes to non native country harms the death and the time ends'
The Islamic Courts reaction came after US embassies in Kenya and Ethiopia warned its American citizens to be vigilant of possible attacks from terrorists in Mogadishu following the failure of Somalia peace talks in Sudan.
