(SomaliNet) Ivory Coast's authorities are searching for an Ivory Coast native who left his farm with all his pigs, which are suspected to be infected with toxic waste.

Ivory Coast's authorities slaughter all animals and destroy food crops suspected to be affected by the toxic waste to save Ivory Coast's natives. However, this farmer has run off with 40 of his pigs.

"We haven't seen any sign of him at his farm except for three pigs he left behind which were slaughtered today," Appolinaire Yapi, a spokesperson at Ivory Coast's Prime Minister's office has said. Other farmers in Ivory Coast are still searching for him.
