(SomaliNet) A Vietnamese court has handed down a five-year imprisonment sentence to a South Korean man for procuring clients for prostitutes, Vietnam News Agency reported Thursday. The Hanoi People's Court, on Wednesday, gave the sentence to the 48-year-old man named Ko Ka Bok.
The man, running a karaoke bar in Vietnam's Hanoi capital, had provided local prostitutes to foreign clients since 2003.
The case was detected in May 2005. A Vietnamese woman involved in the case received a six-year jail sentence, and two local men three years and three years and six months, respectively. - Xinhua
