SonOfANomad does have a point though, a significant percentage of Somali Youth living in the US are emulating black (African American) culture. Other immigrant groups tend to be proud of their culture but not Somalis.

To be frank, if this doesn't stop, Somali Americans will assimilate into the AA ...

It is a news to me that Somalis participated the slavery of Bantu. I thought it was Arabs, and at that time the Southern tip-part of Somalia was under the Oman Sultanate!
