AbdiWahab Ahmed Ali - Premier of the Union of Somali Sovereign Republics (USSR) 2015-2030.
AbdiWahab Ahmed Ali returned to Somalia from exile in the United States to lead the Somali Peoples Party (SPP). After the suspension of the Constitution in late 2008 by President Indocaade, AbdiWahab Ali went underground to lead the Union of Somali Opposition Parties (USOP), a loose coaltion of Somali opposition parties. In 2010, the USOP marched into Mogadishu deposing the regime of President Indocaade.
Premier Ali is credited for the achieving the reunification of the Somali territories: Ogadenia, NFD, Djibouti, Somaliland and Somalia into a loose confederation called the Union of Somali Sovereign Republics.
After ruling the USSR for 15 years, Premier Ali retired in 2030 after fulfilling term limits which barred him from running for Premier. Under his leadership, the Somali have enjoyed relative peace and economic prosperity.
Premier Ali lives in Hobyo with his family. He is currently a Professor of Economics at the prestigous Hobyo State University.
