It is odd and ironic that they still fear the Gedo region and are hesitant to attack considering that it was it the only region that they had influence in the 90's. Cornayl Fartaag will give them hell if they attempt to cross the border.

Xoog: I doubt that. If Barre fled Kismayo, allowed ICU into Cabuwaaq, what makes u think he can capture Xamar UNLESS U ARE SAYING that Barre is simply raising his PRICE of surrender to the UIC.

Barre was never in charge of the Mareexaan parts of Galgaduud, about the kismayo thing it was a strategic retreat simply because the choice was either make a stand and face sure death or fight smartly and live to fight another day.
