But I noticed ‘Somaliland’ is not mentioned on there or anything else that sets Somaliland apart from the rest or identifies it. Is there a reason behind that?

I like the design of the flag but I think the anthem needs a bit of work on it. I love this part........“Midnimo walaalnimo goobanimo islaanimo kugu salaanee samow samidiyo”

My uncles were never defeated.

As for Somaliland, IÂ’ve always had the mindset of doing what is best for the population......meaning there should be a legitimate referendum and guarantees for minority clans. As a Somali person, I think Somaliland should remain part of Somalia because I don't believe in creating more borders(we have enough as it is). As an occupied southern Somali person, I think Somaliland should be granted full independence, how ever bad their administration is at least they are not occupied. After all we are all Somali and there is no point in dragging our brothers to suffer with us.
