The horn africa free zone is starting its operations again after suspending it in 2006 due to somalias political situation. It now appears with the current operations of the US backing a change in Somalia during December 2006 and January 2007, that HAFZA is prepared to re-commence its operations in Puntland.

Puntland will soon be the new dubai insha allah.

"HAFZA is responsible for developing and operating several free zones throughout Puntland autonomously from the Puntland State and the Federal Republic of Somalia under a lease for 99 years. Should the lease arrangement be satisfactory to both parties at the end of the term, HAFZA has the right to extend its obligations for a further 99 years."


This is the stupidest idea --you know what the term "free zone" means --it means it free zone -where there are no laws, no authority and any body can come a grab some land!

here they said that they rent some parts of Somalia which are independant from Puntland and the republic of somalia --That is how Israel is built --If Puntland leases parts of Somalia for 99yrs -and foriengners come and have families and business--99yrs is a whole century -so you think Puntland can come and tell them your lease expired now leave --no they will fight to death.

no you fool the land will be under the law of somalia/puntland you didnt read that part. but it will be leased for 99 years to a company who will invest in it rebuild it. like the way dubai is built. but the people will still remain there and it will come under puntland authority.

This means that they are independant from Puntland and Somalia --for 99yrs (a century)

If Somaliland takes independancy (God forbid) Puntland will be made a "Free-zone" for American Companies --only the South will be the only Somali country remaining.

Then after Puntland is lease for hundred years --Ethiopians military will move in to secure the ports for Ethiopia! get it!

stop with the conspiracy theroies thats bullsh!t.

after the 99 years period ofcourse they will still own and have what they built just that their lease is over, but during this period they will make billions, the residents will live in peace and a developed country full of jobs and opportunities. there alot of free zones in the world.
