Moral Dilemma: Should I or Should I Not ?

Post by AbdiWahab252 »

Over 15 years ago, some focker who is a relation of mine went to war against me & my fam. The fock pulled some bi.tch arse moves (low blows) but I was only a teenager and he was nearly 30 years older than me.

Time has passed and he has fallen on hard times. His family is weak and he is in dire straits. The focker had the nerve to visit me and ask for forgiveness after all this time.

I am more powerful than him: moneywise, got a strong network of friends and relatives, and got my youth.

Should I forgive him or take revenge on him & his kids who were the same age as me to settle an unpaid score ?

"It is always those that are closest to you, that fock u over in the end."

Leave it behind. Avoid legal trouble, and leaving it behind is the higher road. I know your conscience won't let you sleep a good night, but if you think through it enough, you'll sleep just fine knowing they got nothing out of what they did in the past.

Just my two cents.

Rolling Eyes Yet here you are whinning and lamenting about what he did to you?He sounds more powerful than you Abdi. Sad What did he do to you exactly that has made u believe he has 'overpowered' you? What did he do that he shook your core believe in your powers that you have to speak it loud --and declare that u are 'powerful' than him- despite evidential proof that in fact you are powerful than him, no question.(he is poor and old, absolutely, pathetic combo)

Do tell my dear- Abdi were u sexually abused? This will explain your perpetual career of being 'best man' in your 'buddies' wedding, rather than being that cute groom in which i am positive u have a potential to be. Very Happy

Forgive and never forget macaaan. Smile

Why Hold grudges that long? Its abvious that you did not struck while the iron was hot, so why start another beef. Forget about it just like you did when you was young. If you do some, you might end up in Jail and get abused in jail Very Happy

Abdi,

You'd never be complete if you don't forgive him. Forgive him and move on.

You can't tell us incomplete story and expect us to draw some conclusion on your behalf, that would mean unfair and unbalance....

Folks,

I am not going to physically assault him or his family. This ain't Somalia because if it was, this focker and his family would have been slapped around silly 15 years ago.

Premise of the story:

Many years ago, a young African immigrant by the name of Abdiwahab was attending school in the US. AW and his twin had settled down in a private apartment before his distant uncle insisted on him moving in with him so as to help save rent money (more like help uncle afford his apartment). Uncle phone parents back home and made the offer and you know how African parents are so i moved in with my uncle and his new wife.

Short end:

Uncle bails with $1,000 of my money that I gave to him in rent and leaves me brother to pay for an apartment that he owed rent money on along with utilities. I did not know that he was behind on his rent until one day, he moves out suddenly with all of his stuff. The lease was in his name. The landlord evicted us out and luckily I was able to find a place with these other African students. But was out the money and I was unemployed. So I called Moms in Xamar for some cash and she sent it via Dahabshiil the next day.

I was very shocked because I did not expect him to do something like that. He started to avoid me and changed his number. I was able to get my money back several months later after I called some Odeeyaal to help out.

So its been such a long time but I haven't forgotten how he conned me and my brother who had no other relatives in the state and the tough spot he put us in.

I still remember that cold winter day.

Good thing I knew some English and for Dahabshiil otherwise who knows where I would have been.

Now he wants forgiveness and help from me. The mere nerve he came asking was an insult.

I remember my mooryaan cousin who said, "Want me to kidnap his parents in Xamar so that he pays up Laughing "

AW.If he is truly sorry for his actions and means every little word, then you should forgive him and forget what he has done to you in the past...its always better not to dwell on the past, be the better person..

wax kaa hooseya luguma deydo..
