Somali reconciliation conference to be concluded on Thursday, says Mahdi
Mogadishu 29, August.07 ( Sh.M.Network)-The chairman of the Somali reconciliation conference said that the groups that are opposing the conference violated and handicapped the facilitation finance of the conference, and he loudly announced that the doors of the conference hall will be closed from Thursday while some other delegates requested to conference to be prolonged.

On a serious note,
It is unfortunate for the people of Mogadishu to be in this kind of situation where their socalled ''representatives'' sell their own people for miserable $$$. True opportunists, caring only for their belly.
Lets ask a few legitimate questions, as we all know, Ali Mahdi has accumulated millions of dollar since 1991 from been paid to dump toxic waste in Warsheikh and Cadale, to hosting this million-dollar circus. We also know about the millions of dollar Geedi has, since the wedding of his son was around a million.
Lets ask these questions to ourselves:
- Have they built any school in towns like Balcad, Cadale, Ceeldheer, Warsheik, Jowhar etc?
- Have they built any hospital in the regions their people hail from?
- Have they brought any administration to their regions, except for paper-administrations for the cities like Jowhar and Balcad?
- How come that the diaspora group which lives on meagre welfare money and low salaries are financing any local development going on in the region of Benadir?
What are the opportunists doing with the millions of dollars they have in their private banks, except throwing extravagant wedding parties etc?
So basically they are accumulating money by selling their people and land to foreign interests, while their own people live in poverty?
Do they even have a conscious or are they enjoying the misery of their people?
