Why do families do this?

Different families want to host you and pick you up and what not. And you don't want to displease anyone...thats what I hate about going to family visits. I can't say no to anyone...so three different people will come to the airport to pick me up I told them hebel said they will pick up and stuff and they all ask for my flight number and arrival time after that Somalis...

i never tell anyone that i'm coming, i just fly in, get a rental, check into a hotel, get settled in and then call them or just show up at the door.

you don't know my family..if I EVER stayed in a hotel and they live there THEY WOULD NEVER TALK TO ME. Wallhi. I better call them a week ahead and ish. I have to stay with them...some of my bros..aunts..and cousins live there who I haven't seen in a bit.
