Dhiig,
He should have supported Caydiid (AUN) in 1991 instead of declaring Somaliland. Caydiid was counting on him to put the final squeeze on Barre's supporters in the North not on giving them citizenship/refuge

I think its vice versa
everybody was counting on USC and Aideed...
when you guys went bananas Tuur was pressured to declare independence.
