Fah, quote" I'd rather save my money and get my degree than having debt and paying high rent throughout school. If you have to do it, then you have to do what you have to do. But if your family isn't going to kick you out, has given you enough responsibility with household duties, your siblings, and even paying some of the bills.... then why move out? I think I am a lot more independent even if I am not staying on campus or at an apartment.

  That is the way it should be...

Nothing is wrong living with your parents:

1. You help your parents.
2. You help your younger siblings.
3. You protect yourself from all the Problems of being alone.
4. You safe lots and lots of money.
5. In that case you can help your parents financially.
6. You can be well prepared for your marriage..
7. You can easily pay off your loans from the financial institutions that lend you money for school.
8. Your parents will be happy that you are by their side..aka Duca Qabe...
9. You may be able to buy your own house since you saved etc and it goes on and on...

Shame on you folks and stop acting like Gaalo..

Wallaahay maalin dhow waxaa idinka soo socota..." Are you virgin thing"...Sida ay ceebta uga dhigeen reer Galbeedku ayaad idina sida aad isu leedihiin Ilbax iska dhiga aad ku deyin doontaan

Even though I had my own room, never paid rent, I decided to move on when I was 19. I wanted to work for myself and be independent. My parents were furious with me at first, but i told them you guys had me in your shoulders for 19 years, and Its about time I be a man and build future for myself. To my surprise, they liked what I said and let me go.

4 and half years later, I didn't regret moving out. 8)

Those guys who stay with their parents untill they reach late 20's are nothing but failures

MJ,

By moving out from your parents you didn't help them and you didn't do a favor :!: Why are you talking like you are taking the burden from them...How about you are not helping them when they needed you?

Actually, the house is paid off, both of my parents are still young and have good jobs, also my three sisters all work full time and contribute to the house expenses. I contribute to the 300/month family saving plan regularly. What else is there for me to do at home? I see it a practice to be dependent on your self and learn to be responsible. Imagine moving out from your family when you are 28 and never been responsible. It will take you another four years to learn how to be responsible and by the time you reach 32, and you are still single, thats failure in my book
