I hated this girl because she was dating this guy I liked and then we got to know each other a lil better...I found out she was a really cool/layback chick..so I have no reason to hate her now

I was guilty of that when I was younger. Now whenever I meet a new person and they have a funky attitude I give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they are having a bad day. If they're still acting like a jerk on the second or third meeting I write them off in till they prove me wrong.
