I think this is because some of the houses have been recently built. For example my sister built a house in Xamar very recently and it is very nice looking I've heard. The equipment inside the house is also very update, and technological it competes with those in European countries. So basically she has a proper toilet and shower/bath

As long as they are safe, that is the most important thing. I got family livin there I dont know exactly what part..I think its Karaan but they are not suffering at all. My ayeeyo said there are fights going on in certain parts and maybe 5 km away its safe...The kids can go to school etc. basically they have no problems. But on TV its so different, you know when see masakiin in refugee camps and all that

Yes safety and security are of utmost importance, but I must admit that a few luxuries that we are used to helps.

Warsan I havent been there for like 18 years..basically I'm born there and havent gone back once. Are you going next years thats so wicked Insha allah I will go there as soon as the fights stop cuz I dont want to take any risks
