He will still remain a very powerful US Senator, he would have made history and would have reached where no man of his colour and origin has ever been before.

So I dont see that as an under achievement.

There are different ways the Republicans can steal it. Examples:

1. Wag the dog.

2. The arrest of Osama bin Laden.

3. Supreme court justices ruling for McCain's favor, like in 2000.

4. Another inside job.

5. JFK'ing Obama.

6. Etc.

Obama has been accused of being a Muslim. To disprove that, he's gonna do more than bomb Iran. I think he would bomb far more Muslims than Bush.
