All the somalis have really soft hair or wavy but still soft hair  I've never heard of somali cursing their hair... most of the time thats what they use to say they better than black people (as if soft hair is a personal achievement ?!!)

Put an oilve oil hair mask on once a week (Make sure it doesnt get on your skin or else you'll get spots)

And the l'oreal Elnett hair spray is really good...Although thats for white people

Try using double cream mixed with olive oil, 1 egg, and a few tablespoons of Greek yogurt. Try this twice a week by leaving it in the hair for about 3 hours. Then rinse it out.

Products depend on what you are trying to do

Curly Styles
Leave in conditioners- great since they give hair moisture without making it hard (ex: herbal Essence smoothing leave in creme) can get them with hold if you want it to last longer

Curl Activator- actually pretty good if you want an easy curly look that lasts for a week, just put it on and run (love Long Aid Activator since it has no damaging alcohol and keeps hair soft)

Straight Syles
Straightening Lotion- salons use it to get rid of curls/frizz and have long lasting style

Petrolum jars- like coconut or olive oil, for straight styles if your hair is dry it makes it look like its not

Hair Sheen Spray- nice to add shine

Hair Spray- its okay, but no hair spray with alcohol it makes hair dry
