No I blame David Stern who is more worried about marketing the NBA to China than taking care of the teams at home. Even some of his owners have accused him of this.

David Stern has been pushing for the Sonics to move from Seattle when Howard Schultz owned the team. He's been tryna move it since 2003. He doesn't care about his home town bases what so ever.
