Truly the reality on the ground change with Al Shabaab and the lack of support the TFG was getting from the outside world.. A/Y was a one man. One can not force peace iyo compromise to a group of people who did not understand those critical concepts.

Yusuf's administration was destroyed from within and that is evident today.

I am Proud of the SSDF cause the SSDF is Puntland and a Somali struggle. I truly dought if Puntland would have exited without SSDF.

Plus SSDF taught Somalis to speak up and pick up guns against Dictatorship and a leader that was destroying the country from within.

The goal of SSDF wasn't Civil War iyo anarchy but of change of leadership and i bet you if it was SSDF that would have overthrown Siyad Barre's Government rather than USC Somalia wouldn't be in the hot mess it is in today.

If SSDF had won the war there would be no Somalia, it would have been annexed into Mengistu's Ethiopia like Balanballe district (nearly) was.

Only someone ignorate of Somali oo dhan iyo Politics in general would make such a statement.

Siyad Barre armed and Housed Meles Zenawi kin who were a rebel group who were fighting to overthrow Haile Selassie marka why is it a suprised that Abduallhi Yusuf was armed and housed by Haile Selassie to order to help the SSDF overthrow Siyad Barre? Ethiopia iyo Somalia were the leading heads in Africa in those days and these things were normal in our corner of the world.

Anyone who knows the history of SSDF iyo Somalia would agree with me that we would have had a United and Peaceful Somalia if the SSDF rather than the USC had taken over Mogadishu and ousted Siyad Barre. It's a fact maybe not a united Somalia but a peaceful Somalia with a strong Central Government.
