JC your view of the Ciidagale side and its poor diversity represents the socio-economics of the subclan.
Their sections of the town is much more regulated and property very hard to get ( clan attitude ) they are hard men don't sell land to anyone. Not mention most of it is old money, I've heard of reer hargesawi families who've had warehouses for more than a century inside the town.
This side of Hargeisa has the panorami mountain tables streching down to central Hargeisa.
Many entrepreneurs have experienced how hard its to buy land from on this side.
I think the Ogaden influx is quite recent and where they do business is due to great family connections.
Hargeisa is probably derived from something like market of hides and skin, harag.
A very few Ciise Muuse have had the privilege to settle among them.
Never heard of others having luck though
Sacad Muuse section of Hargeisa is very different
its here you find greatest diversity of people, because the land was booming / expanding untill recently and less regulated.
Some land grabbing was common among newcomer lineages of Sacad Muuse in the 90s, most likely their country subclans who moved into former public land... you can see it as war booty from Afweyne era, after all they were Afraad movement
But land here is now scarce.. good property is difficult to find.
And the area represents around 30 % of Hargeisa including the new suburbs stretching outside townborder.
It's hot ..still hot place...you find lots of reer Djibouti and HJs in the elevated jigjigyar xaafado
Central Hargeisa suuqa hoose and public administrative areas are 15 % ( Hargeisas manhattan )
Both Arap and Isxaaq are living ' within ' Ciidagale side of the town.
Which is 55 % of the town excluding large undeveloped imediate land and airport
These are just my visual estimations so dont take it too seriously
