I saw a somali girl who is striving to better herself but I am yet to see one that is thinking about going back home and changing the lives of her village people. I think some of our eduated girls wayba kafaanaan in somalia ay katimid ladhoho. afsoomaaliga xitaa way kacararaan. I know some of you would say Xaawo Cabdi but remember she was born in Mogadishu and she had the whole government of that time promoting girls education. This is a 17yrs old girl From the middle of Nowhere and having the dream of changing a whole community.
I think this is a girl that the Somalia community can only dream they had.
bravo my Masaai sister. I know she is not from my ethnic but I am still proud of her as an African.

I'm sure there are many who are thinking about going back and contributing, but lack of security is impending them. I remember many went back in 2006 when the ICU took power, and many others were on their way when Ethiopia with the help of America invaded Somalia. It can be argued most Somalis would go back and contribute if there's a semblance of security, law and order.hanad_mn wrote:I saw a somali girl who is striving to better herself but I am yet to see one that is thinking about going back home and changing the lives of her village people.
