Well bring on ur Sunni awakening, Hawiye awakening or whatever have you, in my opinion no one will be able to defeat these guys till a viable alternative is found, but apparently thats only my belief.Twisted_Logic wrote:Again, the same problem. Who cares if this government is incompetent or weak? It is precisely at times when your government is weak that it needs your support. And, any force on earth should be used to obliterate this Al Shabab menace. They were defeated in Iraq and there is no reason why they can't be defeated in Somalia. It is just a matter of time.Shirib wrote:I don't even see a roadmap. The TFG is the most incompetent thing on earth, and I am willing to bet a lot that many of those "TFG" are working for Aweys and Shabaab. What will defeat Shabaab? U can't rely on foreign forces and it doesn't look like anyone agrees on fighting them collectively. Remember odayaasha Hawiye saying Shariif cannot use his Abgaal to fight Shabaab.Yet they don't want to fight them.Twisted_Logic wrote:A roadmap has to precede any "alternative." Hence, why it is important to defeat Al Shabab now instead of waiting it to grow bigger and more powerful. You want to put the genie back into the bottle when you are done using it, this is childish. There will be no happy ending to this.
Whats the roadmap? Cause honestly I see the TFG as the most incompetent entity on earth, if they looked somewhat functional they would get a lot more support but they aren't.
You are grabbing onto any reason to justify your support for these maniacs. As always, you will fail. It is better to look at things holistically than bake some half-truths and shove it down on our throats as an honest sentiment.
I don't support Shabaab but I sure as hell will not support the likes of Indhacadde, get off the crack pipe
