There are separations of power in politics and in the Somali constitution. The Speaker of the house speaks on behalf of the legislative branch, the President is in charge of the executive and the PM is in charge of the government. No-one speaks for any-one

I've actually never heard of this guy talk about Islam at all, only about war and politics

aren't war and politics part of al-islam? do you think that al-islam only consists of rituals and women's issues? do you want him to talk about menses and the likes?

let me tell you something.... islamic politics is to make the word of allah swt the utmost until all worship is for allah swt alone. and jihad is the peak of this magnificent deen, its the highest and most true act of worship in al-islam. so only a fool would busy himself with only talking about issues like menses and the likes while leaving off issues relating to tawheed, jihad and likes. especially in today's world.
