You are committing a crime by claiming Ilka-Yars have degaan in coastal areas. The rest of your list looks decent except Leelkase. The only Leelkase city I heard is Goldogob.

Read my replay too Twisted, we settle along the coastlines of Nugaal and Bari, we were based there some odd 150-200 years ago. Both Eyl and Bender Beyla have a significant Leelkase population.

Yep maybe the case in areas where those no law and order in somalia, but take ports in sland and pland, are you telling me one tribe has exclusive access to these ports? nope, also inshallah this will also be the case when law and order is restored to southern somalia.

No tribes per se but often individuals, as i said its run like private property and the public don't get to see a penny. Regardless if its in Puntland, Sland or south. All those major ports fall into different administrations and they are widely accused of corrupt.

a brief guide to the ports of somaliland

Berbera port = Exclusive for all idoors , that reside there and its a national somaliland property aswell.

somaliland - Maydh -port - a Small port that isn't used much apart from yemeni merchants bringing trade iyo waxas to sanaag - Ceerigaabo.

Las Qorey - a exclusive port for Maakhiir iyo some parts of sanaag.

Saylac -very tiny not much activity , although some weapons are docked down there like the recent report of some gadabursi sub clans docking weapons from there.

laakinse back in the 1990s , SNM didin't use Berbera , the only port that was available for SNM to dock weapons from was Maydh.
