Why is the big-footer laughing, you think Afmadowland is realistic either?

There is a process: Liberation -> Stability -> Foundation, it worked for Buntiland: Kick out Al-Itihaad -> Defeat rival factions/warring clans -> Build state

Its as easy as picking up drugged up Laotian club girls.

Finally someone who thinks

Btw I would like something like this because it would force more compramise, reconiciliation etc. because way too many clans would be involved. Also I think it Has potential because Hawiye wouldn't be involved

Jubbaland is not a reality. Its like if there was never a Puntland, several groups declared a state; Dulbahante declare Nugaaland encompassing Sool and Nugaal, MJs declared Majerteeniya gobbling up Warsangali portions of Bari and Leelkase portions of Mudug without permission or their involvement, and Leelkase declared Goldogobland encompassing Gaalkacyo and some MJ villages, and Habar Gidir declared Super-Mudug-Land encompassing all of Mudug and Galguduud encompassing multiple tribes' territories. But there were compromises with every clan in the vicinity of Puntland (by 1993) before the state was even discussed by MJs (1994).

That's Jubbaland in a nutshell. Its not one clan's vision, its multiple clan's visions vying to build the same damn state. All of them act like the whole Jubbaland is their backyard instead of focusing on realistic state-building encompassing their clan's territories and those of like-minded clans. Either that or there are more warlords than civil society at every Jubbaland meeting, which is another reality. When Shiskabaab gets kicked out its back to square one for at least another 8-12 years.

Truth, brought to you by Somalinet.

I don't think so. The shacbi in Jubooyinka got used to some degree of Law and Order and I think if Shishkabab leave (only a matter of time) they will want similar law and order because they got used to it now. I really think that the vaccum will be filled by some sort of admin and I don't see clan militia type outfits ruling the region anymore.

Twisted Logic,

Hutus have other things to worry about these days

Its all a setting can you folks not see.

Kenya trains Ogaden, Ethiopia trains Marexan....Kenya favours Ogaden because of its own Ogaden population of which it would like favourable relations.
Ethiopia see's a state in Somalia with Ogadeni influence as a danger, this could further strengthen ONLF and give them a launching pad for there attacks.

So in the end MR and Ogaden die for two states who are looking out for there own wellbeing...Ethiopia is the more sinister of the two.

This is what I mean.

I'm sure somewhere in Djibouti and also in Dubai there are other Koonfur Galbeed meetings.

How many different people are trying to make the same state?
