Simple we can construct this by persuading the misunderstood (al shabab) and eliminate the big dogs. Next we start a peace phase then we elect ministers from their consticuency, from there these representitives elect province ministers then all of them elect a president. He establishes sharica law, we keep this president as long as the public loves him. Bottom up is needed UN TFG will always fail.surrender wrote:grandpakhalif wrote:IslamIc Republic based on Sharica law for Sunni Somalis not harsh Wahabi one
Is easier said than done, but how would you construct that? Who would you give powers? How would you choose your minsters?

Best solution? Make the practising of Qabiil and Extreme Islamism, punishable offenses, just as Nazism is in Germany. NOT by beheading or chopping, but according to Civilized Law.

Three things
Abandon tribalism: all Somalis are the same and are all from Adam and Eve.
Abandon politics and power: Somali ppl should mind their own business and stop talking about politics, they should focus on their education, business and work. get busy with something productive. politics have been destructive for Somalia.
Nobody owns, no land or region in Somalia. Somaliland isn't own by Isaaq, Puntland not own by Harti, and Mogadishu isn't own by Hawiye.
Come unite on things we have in common. every Somali whether Somalilander, Djiboutian, NFD, or Ogadenia, and South Somalia, have one thing in Common, and that is they are all 100% Sunni Muslim. emphasize on that.
Take examples of the countries in Africa that have been in war and now resolved their issues. like Rwanda, Burundi, Liberia, Uganda etc.

How Liberia Achieved Peace!!
July 17, 2003
Thirty days after securing a fragile ceasefire amongst Liberian warring factions in the Ghanaian capital, Accra, West African mediators were still in the preliminary stages of securing a comprehensive peace agreement. The ceasefire had set a 17 July deadline for the Liberian government, rebels, political parties and civil society groups attending talks in Accra to sign the peace agreement. "We are going to get a peace deal. But whether it will be available by Thursday (17 July), we should cross our fingers and see," talks moderator and former Nigerian head of state, General Abdulsalami Abubakar, told reporters in Accra on Wednesday.
A diplomat following the talks told IRIN on Thursday that a draft peace agreement could be circulated to the parties by the end of this week. The delegates, the diplomat added, were expected to take no more than two weeks to agree to the proposals. "If they don't come to a compromise within two weeks, it will become very expensive to continue the talks," the source said.
Clause 8 of the 17 June ceasefire agreement asked the delegates at the talks to form the framework for a transitional government within 30 days of signing the document. It called for the deployment of an intervention force, the disarmament and demobilization of all warring factions and for humanitarian issues to be addressed within the 30 days. However, as the one month deadline came to pass on Thursday, all the above issues were yet to be concluded. "We are still collecting memoranda from the various groups. We hope that by Thursday, we will put them together to get a comprehensive peace plan," Abubakar earlier told reporters.

in 2005, the election of the Harvard-trained economist and never-say-die politician Ellen Johnson Sirleaf as Africa’s first female head of state.
The president kicked off her six-year term with a 150-day action plan, which included the return of refugees and restoration of electricity to some parts of the capital, Monrovia. She has assiduously cultivated international contacts and used her unique African status to gather much sympathy, even though the support has been less forthcoming. The current government budget is just $360 million, not much for 4 million poor people, a population growing at 4.5 percent annually – the fastest rate worldwide.

Somalia should followed this lead.

You know humans have the tendency to make laws, to tell people what to do, but when making laws you have think about what is the alternative solution to this? You can’t just say to people do this, do that without giving them better choice. If it was as simple as that Somalia wouldn’t be at war, we would have peace by now. So when you say make the practising of Qabiil and Extreme Islamism, punishable offenses, you have to give them better alternative, one that can make them forget about qabilism etc otherwise they just going to keep practicing what they practice now, is not like they going to listen. take al shabab good example. have we not learned our lesson with them?

Through out history men fought, killed, be killed, burn flags, drawn swords over LAND! Land is important, is the most important possession human being can have, to have land means power, respect, richness and security. To tell people they don’t own the land they live and born is crazy idea. When Allah was giving people land he chose that for them, not taking about ones that want to invade others, but ones that live in the land their forefathers lived. So again you have to give them better alternative, something that would make sure everyone has land they like to call ‘home’ but at the same time not going over board by invading others and stealing other people’s piece of land.
ps: Unity is not as easy as it seems, what is there to unite, everyone thinks we better off so and so therefore we must eliminate so and so, but if we show them life as united Somalia is better than separatism then maybe then they would take the idea serious. Take example, Somaliland, they think they better off without Somaliwayn that they have peace, and security and don’t need Somalia. This is even after the high poverty rate, living of hand outs from agencies and the average Somalilander earning less than $4 a day. Still they have peace, or so they think, and that gives them the upper hand to think we don’t need to be ruled from Muqdhisho so we going independence, and they could be right.

there is no solution .
no "solution" will work until somalis have learned how to trust each other
