If you know him personally, do you remember a time he was going through court cases in Djibouti due to a business conflict. He lost a lot of money, so did my father and few other guys.

Hes a former Somali presidential candidate as well during Arta "elections", I think he will be good for Hiiraan if he gains public support and support from the minority clans in Hiiraan who are currently against the new regional govt.

I know he used to go to djibouti every 2 months (back and forth). but never told us about any loss on his business.
Neither his family know much about the loss of his business.

And yes he was a contender for presidency in abdi kassim time however got only 2% of the votes.
He had the lowest vote and got eliminated on the first round.

Building a government in Nairobi for Somalis has never worked. When will these people realize that?! The people really hate these opportunistic leeches from abroad who have nothing good in mind for the people but to claim to be their leader so they can live off whatever money they can get from the residents of the region. I wish Hiiraan the best but I am certain a government built in Nairobi is no where near what is good for them.
