Rich Russians go to Somalia pirate hunting for fun

Pirate Hunting Cruises Being Offered in Russia

Pirate hunting cruises along the African coast are being offered by private yachts in Russia. For £3,500 per day customers can sail along the coast of Somalia at low speed to entice a pirate into attacking.

Former special forces troops are on board to make sure no harm comes to the wealthy punters. If a pirate does take the bait, they are met with machine gun, rocket, and grenade fire. For an extra fee, customers can hire an AK-47 and join in.

"They are worse than the pirates. At least the pirates have the decency to take hostages, these people are just paying to commit murder," said Vladimir Mironov, a Russian yachtsman.

Rich Russians go Pirate Hunting along the Coastlines of Somalia

Luxury ocean liners in Russia are offering pirate hunting cruises
aboard armed private yachts off the Somali coast.

Wealthy punters pay 5790 Dollar per day to patrol the most dangerous
waters in the world hoping to be attacked by raiders.

When attacked, they retaliate with grenade launchers, machine guns and
rocket launchers.

Passengers, who can pay an extra 5 Dollar a day for an AK-47 machine
gun and 12 Dollar for 100 rounds of ammo, are also protected by a squad
of ex special forces troops.

The yachts travel from Djibouti in Somalia to Mombasa in Kenya.

The ships deliberately cruise close to the coast at a speed of just
five nautical miles in an attempt to attract the interest of pirates.

"They are worse than the pirates," said Russian yachtsman Vladimir
Mironov. "At least the pirates have the decency to take hostages, these
people are just paying to commit murder," he continued.

We're neither Russians or Ethiopians we do not beleive everything we read or see.
Had you been a little more clever , you would have known that blowing the shit out of these people while in port in Djibouti a SOMALI city could be an option as far as we are concerned

 now that would be an interesting holiday.... Pirates would have increased supply of potential hostages, and the idiot holiday makers will have a life changing experience....getting kidnapped or potentially arrested for murder - fantastic for adrenaline junkies with fewer brain cells than the idiots from Jackass.

And they're rich!

Still, if such a thing were true the piracy problem would have died out within months.

too bad this is not a real report..

if it was reall... i will be the first to get down hire a medium sized fishing trawel.
Then i would equip it with a set of ZSU-23-4 millimiter anti aircraft gun all hidden from view..

With a range of 2kms i would wait till i get to 300 meters and then unleash on them, disable the ship and turn it to swiss cheese..

then capture and hold the survivors for ransom...

perfect.

hring the boat, plus installing the cannons and hiring a crew for a couple of weeks would set you back a minimum of
$150,000 not bad eh...

It is in international waters, which isn't under the jurisdiction of any sovereign power abayoo. These people are sick and they know what they are doing.
