Facts you didn't knew about Somalia
Lets share any facts about Somalia, it could be anything. But it has to be facts that are less likely to be known, not facts like this : 'The Somali written languange was created by Shire Jamac Ahmed, sponsored by Kacaaan government' these kind of facts are widely known so lets share facts that are less famous.
I will start as of:
Did you knew that: The Somali singer Salaad Darbi was about to be cut off his hands by the Saudi Government in 1981-82 when he was unlawfully accused of stealing something, and then Siyad Barre ordered the Saudi government not to do it or else he would put Saudi diplomats in Xamar into Jail.

.......That Somalia had the first sub-Saharan African country with democratically elected president. It was in 1967 A/Rashid Ali Sharmarke won the presidency after long national Parliamentary election. Aden Adde who lost the election peacefully transferred the power to the new president A/Rashid Ali Sharmarke. And that’s a fact

- Somalia was the first place in Africa where aircraft was used in warfare (when the british used it to bomb Taleex?)
- The runway in Berbera was an emergency landing strip for NASA's (they paid Barre 40m p.a in case they needed it) as it was (is) one of the longest in Africa.
- Somalia has the longest coastline in africa (an obvious one).
- Somalia has one of the lowest HIV infection rates in africa. (Alhamdulilah)
