when I was working at Afgoi eye clinic in 1988-89 I saw it with my own eyes.....it be can brutal....the hospital staff have to be ready for casualties...which can be life threatening.....

It used to be a major event back in the day. Families would drive from all over the country to go to Af-gooye and watch it.

It was pre-Islamic, but it was all innocent fun. One of the many things we lost with the war.
