What motivates you to get married?

I wanted to have my own family, plus I was in love,

Structure, responsibility, completing my deen. Those are just some ..

And physical satisfaction plus being sick of the 'iskaablo' life

Completing half of my deen, while maintaining to do all the positions I've been reading about lately, in a fitna free mannerism.

Do people consider not ever getting married? We are meant to get married, we are suppose to reproduce, we are to have spouses. Without the opposite sex in our lives, whether it be halal or haraam is a damn sad and non maintainable existence.

I don't understand why you guys are pretending that all the reasons up there are not motivation.

Every guy and girl has sexual desire
Everyone has it in them to desire offspring
Everyone of us has external pressure such as family, or society at large, or religion
Everyone of us desires a companion

I'm calling out all the people who responded with their noses in the air, as if it was just passing thought. You may have one reason that is greater than the other at the moment, but all of them are there.

For me its the pressure from the family,
Sick of being alone,
Pressure of friends (seeing happily married friends)
To complete half my deen
I want to have children
To find love (yes I believe in it)



but all of those reasons can wait now...till I get my life together
