UN declare FAMINE in two regions in South Somalia
They declare Bakool and Lower Shabelle as famine hit regions. N.B This is where Al Shabab el Khawaarij controls. Whats your take on this matter?

absolutely right, remember how i always used to say that al-shabab punish the shacab by enforcing heavy taxation, taking illegal zakat from farmers + herders, closing river canals, taking the kids that was supposed to help their parents in the farm to fight for them by FORCE. Yes this was the outcome of their rule. They brought nothing but Famine, death and terrorism.kadarre wrote:And i Thought these place were suppose to be rich fertile areas.

The TFG should take some responsibility : x
I understand the Bogyman Al-shabaab is bad but if they were not so engrossed into pitiful tat for tat games we might not have had such a catastrophe happening.

Can you provide help to your child if some one is preventing you to reach to your child. Its similar case. TFG do not have the access to those in Bakool and Lower Shabelle, cause Al Shabab are preventing them. Thats why many people are coming to Xamar-government controlled areas, and TFG have given them shelter + food. You know that our government is weak, so do not criticise them, atleast they are helping those they rule under.XaliimoFarax wrote:The TFG should take some responsibility : x

Ximan - why are they prevented at the first place? They should have controlled those areas long time ago but no their silly games is more important. Take for example, wasn't dear Farmaajo forced to assign just recently?
Those they rule? 2km is not a country my friend.
Criticism is always good to improve ones’ self.

They were prevented by UN and countries that indirectly support Al Shabab i.e Libya, Egypt, Eritrea etc. But also around 230-250 MP's that work for Ethiopia. Yes, I admit our government is not perfect, but its still our government. With our support the government can progress (take Farmaajo's rule for example), he had enjoyed many support from the people and it helped his team. Always support the government, cause eventually it will lead to stronger and more efficient government. P.S The government doesn't control 2km, they control 75% of Xamar and some other land in gobollada.XaliimoFarax wrote:Ximan - why are they prevented at the first place? Ximan -
So your advice is we should ALWAYS support the government even if they are full if corruption, are incompetent and are doing the most harm?
Until all the leeches are replaced I have no government. Inshallah halla at me when this happens.

How are you going get a government if you don't support the transitional government? How can you even 'mucaarad' a weak government. Get involved and transform the TFG to become less corrupt just like Farmaajo and the technocrats from the diaspora. Or just sit at home and see no progress. Get involved!XaliimoFarax wrote:Ximan -

Inshallah I will get involved and are planning on that but not through politics that’s just a dirty game and no place for a woman.
I am a big supporter of fixing the foundation and starting small. You do not enforce laws on people but rather get the trust and respect from the people you trying to govern.

Lol, i didn't mean get into political arena, I meant support the government no matter what. You do know a government can only get stronger if it has its people's support. We had 20 years of war, we simply do not have the energy to keep on hating on a government. Hooyo macaaney heedhe, macaalanimada aduunka, hooyo muxubooy heedhe muftaaxa duunida, mugdiga naga qaade...XaliimoFarax wrote:Inshallah I will get involved and are planning on that but not through politics that’s just a dirty game and no place for a woman.
