Very interesting. JazakAllah khair. I'm ashamed it never takes me that long. But Alhamdulilah like the Shaykh, I love using 'Baquli' I just wasn't sure about washing my hands before dipping it in. Now I know it is better to wash my hands thoroughly first.
The hair wiping I do it totally different, I do it with the guidance of the Shafi'i madhab, and this is the same in regards to how many times.
So glad I came across this video, Alhamdulilah.

I have no clue, but this is in fact with the accordance of the Maliki madhab.

No it isn't only Maliki's who do it this way or this isn't the "Maliki" way. The only thing the madhab's differ is what constitutes what is wajib in the hair. Maliki's say the whole hair is wajib, while shaifi says just one strand is neccessary and the whole is sunnah.Warsan_Star_Muslimah wrote:seemeyer wrote:Very comprehensive,is it only Malakis who do it this way?

But the truth is if you do all the wajib and sunnah of either of the four madhabs then you cover all the wajib and sunnah of the other madhabs. So if you do it the way of this shaykh then u cover all the sunnah and wajib of the Shafi madhab.

I've never watched a man with such a beard wash his face. Must be hard to get the chin wet.

washing the whole head wiping until the end of the hair is maliki only. shafi'i says, you can wipe even one hair in the very beginning of your head.

Thanks for posting... It took him over 5mins to do it MashaaAllah.. Thats amazing.
I always make wudu using a bucket aswell *Cos I know washing water is a sin* But I only wash the front bit of my hair.. Washing all your hair is a hassel, but I guess worth it.
Plus is it true that you're only suppose to make wudu like that once a day? I heard if you break your wudu during the day you dont have to make a perfect wudu after..

Re: Wudu the sunnah way, Amazing!
I'll be honest, I was going to say something about "sufi this, blah blah blah", but this was serene. I knew everything he was doing but, it still made me look like a kid splashing water around for his wudhu, and walking out having covered nothing.
My questions: Why didn't he do his beard? (Handful of water beneath the jaw, fingers spread through) And why is it not a pillar of the wudhu to do istinshaq? (This I've never heard before. I know of the two separate ways to do the mouth & nose, but the nose being sunnah and not wajib is news to me.) I've also never heard of taking new water for the ears being mustahab. (I've always considered it something invalid, based on what I've read.)
Thanks for posting this. Learning about long hair was interesting. Not something I've thought about before.

BV if a man has a full beard then he doesn't have to get all the way to the skin, he just has to run his fingers through it.
West I have never heard that before about making perfect wudu, and not doing that again if u break it in the day. If you break your wudu, then you have to do it again the correct way, and that is covering the wajib of it.
Alpha he did wash his beard, second Alpha their is only a few things that are wajib in the wudu, That is Washing The Face, the arms, the hair, and the feet, because it says in the quran those specific parts surah Maidah " O ye who believe! When ye rise up for prayer, wash you faces, and your hands up to the elbows, and lightly rub your heads and (wash) your feet up to the ankle". And it doesn't say your nose and mouth in particular so that is why there is a khilaf, and their understanding is that nose and mouth are sunnah. Alpha when you look at the madhabs what might be considered mustahab in one madhab could be makrouh in another, so it is understandable if you heard something otherwise.
934 correct with your left pinky and thumb.

Re: Wudu the sunnah way, Amazing!
Alpha istinshaq being wajib is the opinion of the hanabilis. There is hadiths where the prophet did istinshaq. What the other madhabs did is join all the evidence. If the ayat of Wudu doesn't mention it but the hadiths do than it must be sunah or the complete way of wudu since the hadiths further explain the quran. Also just because is sunah according to them doesn't mean one shouldn't do it but what the fuqaha of the madhabs try to teach us always is the minimum requirements needed for ones deed to be correct.. meaning if we say is wajib than ones wudu is not correct meaning their salat is not correct. Pretty serious issue it becomes.
