NY Times is owned by that Zionist pig. You're pissing the wind if you think they have an ounce of sympathy for us.

very sad the famiine has killed 29,000 children http://news.yahoo.com/us-29-000-somali- ... 57443.html
NAIROBI, Kenya http://news.yahoo.com/us-29-000-somali- ... 57443.html
(AP) — A U.S. official says the famine in Somalia has killed more than 29,000 children under the age of 5.
The United Nations has said that tens of thousands of people have died in the Horn of Africa's drought and famine, but the U.S. estimate is the first precise death toll offered in the crisis.
Nancy Lindborg, an official with the U.S. government aid arm, told a congressional committee in Washington on Wednesday that the U.S. estimates that more than 29,000 children under age 5 have died in the last 90 days in southern Somalia.
The U.N. on Wednesday declared three new regions in Somalia famine zones. Out of a population of roughly 7.5 million, the U.N. says 3.2 million Somalis are in need of immediate lifesaving assistance.

I hate all the naked baby pictures too, but they are doing it to get the attention of American people. Somalia is not being covered in American news like it is in other countries. Americans were only watching the debt ceiling crisis. Most Americans don't know what is going on. Which is bad because if they don't know they won't donate. A country of over 300,000 million people who always donate to disasters and they don't know anything about what is happening.

Yes, the US government donated 430 milion dollars in March for the drought, but the UN is sitting on the money because of Al-Shabaab. By the US having that law that said if you get aid to an Al-Shaabab territory that you will be sanctioned was terrible. At least Obama changed it for us. So many countries already put up the money but they don't want to help Somalia and became America's enemy. At least Obama said don't worry about that and people need help.

It will be expensive to fix this because of the amount of money it costs to send anything to Somalia. A package of 50 pounds costs $500 to send it. It is a shame African countries don't help each other when it is much cheaper for them to help. Bless the African country Botswaana for stepping up to help. Yesterday, Botswaana took 50 tons of food and blankets to the refugee camps.
