Re: Soon the largest Port in East Africa
This might sound good and all for government of Somaliland but this project can have the possibility to cause malicious harm to one of areas, if not the worlds, best water spots. Sea ports can really pollute the water supply for the native population as well cause harm to marine life and with the article saying it wants to create East Africas biggest its definitely a cause for concern. Plus it is being done by China who are infamous for ignoring crucial regulations that is needed for a safe environment. One does not have to look too far from the work of the Chinese, by just looking at their own country and seeing how they become one of the most polluted should raise eyebrows alone but then again African countries don't really have a choice.
