The punshiment and blessings of the somali people.
A lot of money to be made here. You will find investors from all over the world in Kenya. Great prosperity, great weather, tourism endless opportunities, beautiful women and the list goes on.
On the the downside there is also great poverty, most of the locals are working for foreigners. The country is divided between whites, Indians and a few corrupted kenyans. Corruption is everywhere in Kenya you can bribe your way out of anything.
There is also a lot of prostituation. Is the norm here to see a 80 year old white man with a young 18 year old local. You will even find young boys being pimped in mombasa. A lot of somali prostitutes here also. The British has done a good job on theses people.
Walahi at times I think Allah has punished our people and protected us from a lot of evil things at the same time. A lot of you will argue we have most of those things in Somalia which is true but is not the norm, is usually hidden from the public. AIDS, prostitution, corruption is not wide spread. Most importantly the average somali has not been brain focked by the European he would rather die than accept certain things. I know we are in mess, millions have been made refugees, thousands died and no functioning government in twenty years but still the poor somali man in Jowhar or Bosaso is king in his own land.

I understand what you mean, but the problem with Somali is that a lot of things remain hidden. There is so much corruption in Somalia that you would hate to think about it. The very people who are supposed to protect the Somalis are the very same ones who pimp Somali girls in brothels in Nairobi. The day that there will be peace in Somali and you set up a reconciliation commission is the day that you will know about the full extent of human trafficking, sodomy, and corruption in Somalia.Walahi at times I think Allah has punished our people and protected us from a lot of evil things at the same time. Re: The punshiment and blessings of the somali people.
this topic is misleading, I came here hoping to see things about somalia, but not, now where does Kenya come in?? i guess no Somali topic would be complete without of course mentioning and tarnishing Kenya
let me tell you, once you have peace all these things about Kenya will come to you, you can not stop it.

I agree with Sahan. Geed gaaban baad wax a aragtay Alchemist. Naag Somali haday dhilowayso now or tomorrow ma istaajin kartid in fact meeqaa dhilooyin ah all over the world? I don't think that makes up for 20 years of war, near total reliance on UN bur, child mortality of 60%, literacy at 8%, two of the only famines in the world in the last 20 years, thousands dying in human smuggling, tens of thousands dead from bullets, the embarassment and shame of the world, the complete loss of our sovereignty, etc etc etc.
