I think the guys in Somaliland and Puntland have tried. Although i do not want to be caught in the crossfire, i really believe that many peopel who oppose them do it out of envy rather than the love for the "greater Somalia." don't think the peopel chnating Somaliweyn would be angry with them if they (especially Somaliland,) would be facing the same chellenges as them. IMHO, i believe that if every region became stable and autonomous, then they will be able to unite even more.waryaa wrote:Dudaaye (know your country 101) Galkacyo hospitals alone save thousands of lives from civil-war ridden south every year. Fyi, if two subclans fight in Cabudwaq, members from both sides end up in Galkacyo hospitals or @ Galkacyo airport in transit to Dubai/Nairobi. You lose your eye sight and your first stop is Garowe/Bosao. By the way, the best eye doctor in Puntland is from Cabudwaq and has two clinics in Garowe and Bosaso.Dudaaye wrote:The tribal autonomous regions SSDF Punthiopia and SNM Somalidiid

I'm against the Balkanization of my country. The tribal autonomous regions need to be submissive and obedient to their leader in Mogadishu, they only want to be submissive to their leader in Addis Ababa.waryaa wrote:

dumb-ass dhabacyo aka Tigray dabadhilif
National leaders don't advocate for the balkanization of Somalia. Puntland = tribal-autonomous region.
farmaajo was a national leader Mogadishu was not his tribal base. Ethiopia openly advocated a federal system (a system of strong autonomous regions) they they want to Balkanise somalia

Once Alshabaab are removed from the equation, Insha'allah eventually we will have a strong, unified government.
