In that case do not call for the destruction of the Iranian regime since there is no Sunni force capable of defeating them inside the country.

United States always vetoes resolutions condemning Israeli human rights violations, they've lost the moral high ground to ask other to condemn human rights abuses by other countries. As for the protestors, if its clear the the Syrian government will not tolerate dissidence and are willing to shoot them, why do they complain when they get shot? Just stay home.
