Okay, if I got it right. Saudi Arabia is a conservative country where religion is tainted and is part of the law. And under Islam there is freedom of expression and religion but you cannot betray the people around you or go against the laws of the land. So why are these people put in jail? Because they're against the religion or is there something else going on?

And what did this shaykh say that led him to prison in the first place?

Bleached Dime, basically this Shaykh is saying to the authorities: How would you like it if it were your children who were denied a fair trial, detained for speaking, if you sleep comfortable at night then there are mothers who have a hard time sleeping always thinking about their children in jail...

He is saying to the King you go and watch football games and sports events, why dont you dedicate a small amount of time visiting those people in prison whom everyone forgot about who been there for 10, 12, 15 years without trial...

The prisoners could have done any crime, he is just stating that the authorities are treating them inhumanely
