The flag is not the symbol of Absame/Ogaden, i have had another member from Gedo section say that to me, it is ludicrous to reduce the flag of a regional power ONLF to just one tribe or to disprove of the historic name of the region Ogaden because it was named after a Somali Ogaden tribe.

Somalis can be the biggest hypocrites on earth. You condemn the colonialism of Haile selassie that occupies Western Somalia but you accept the "name" that European colonisers named this land i.e Ogadenia. The name Ogadenia, prior to European colonialism never existed.

So you cannot have it both ways, either condemn colonialism completely and reject this colonial naming of the territory or accept that Haile Sellasie and Habashis are also legitimate in occupying the land.
