there is ahadeeth and aqwaal forbid women that mentioned but if you look why. the reasoning they use is: women get emotional/cry at their relative, beat the chest (this actually seen it), rib their hairs etc . but if woman has imaan to control her emotional of her loss. i dont see why cannot visit for 3ibra? as men also supposed to go for 3ibra? what else one visits qobour? to get 3ibra and to humble them and do dua for ahl alqobour from relatives or random muslims?

ps; im not passing fatwa here, im just stating reasons why forbid. in qatar, kuwait and many other muslim countries allowed to visit.
I always thought that reasoning was used to stop women from attending funerals not the graveyard.. :|
I never understood why it was seen by some for it to be unpermissible for women to visit the graveyard :? .. We also need to remember the hereafter and death..

yeah i had that too for so long time. but now not as much i used to be.

West: im sorry i should bring the aqwaal without injecting my opinion.

scholars disagreed and went 3 opinion:

1- said is haraam using hadeeth قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:(لعن الله زوارات القبور)) means Allah la3anat who visits(zawaaraat as exaggerate visit)

2- some say is halal and that above was specific situation. using hadeeth: روى الترمذي في صحيحه عن بريدة رضي الله عنه قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "كنت نهيتكم عن زيارة القبور فزورها فإنها تذكر الآخرة". this one says: i forbid but allowed to you now visit them , it's reminder"

3- say it's allowed if the woman controlled her emotional, dress islamicly and dont put scent.

tnx hyper! I am a great fan of death and near death experience documentaries.

100% ppl talked about soul body separation in all of the near death documentaries I watched. I dont necessarily agree with their claims.

You take a perfectly good Somali man { hyperactive's father} marry him to a yemeni woman { hyperactive's mother } settle them in Qatar and this is what you get

Listen to me son !
This is what you've said
im just crazy person i guess just wants to vent what's in my head that is hard to translate it in words.
To vent means
A means of escape or release from confinement; an outlet: give vent to one's anger

1/Talking about qaboor , is not venting , or maybe it is in Qatar
2/ people usually say life and death , not death and life
JazakAllah Khayr

sahan salam adeer, you really made me smile, khair Allah ko siiyo.

secondly, i expected that correction or question why death and life and not as people normally say: life and death!!

cause when i was posting the topic, i was working on surat alemran , the aayah saying: not the male as female.....

then ibn khateer said: why didnt that aayah Allah didnt say : not female like a male. if Allah said: not the female like a male the meaning would be the same and message also the same! then he went saying "ibn kather" that cause people when they speak normally mention first what is important to them , or what is wanted or desirable.

so i used death before life for my own message for myself which one is important to me to talk about!!
