We only packed handguns and only used security when traveling with out of towners. Otherwise, I went without them just me and the driver. Indocaade's cousin manned the first checkpoint into my zone. You should have seen this fellow who was in his 50s, chubby and looked like Indocaade.

But when I was in Galkacyo and on business, I always had 3 guards, who were all carrying visible fire arms: AKs. PKMs etc. I also had a friend who would supplement my detail with a few of his men when we had white folks over.
