Akhyaarta, Salaamulaahi calaykum,

From my observation, I came to realize that most of the Somalis that I met are quite a character (including me lol). I started working with African students at my Uni. OMG the Nigerians are freaking demeaners as if no one else is on earth other than them. That is how most of them think. And the Kenyans, they so f**** love to be leaders and preside the little over that is going on within the uni. And the Somalis, you will just get into conflict with them if you try to correct them or tell them something that they may or may not be aware of. Don't get me wrong, I am learning about myself and I am proud of my Somalinimo though I don't like taking instructions.

Also, most Africans that I met here are lazy, irresponsible. How can you run a club when majority of them don't wanna do any shit? I do most of the stuff and they take credit for my work. Are most Somalis like that? are they lazy? I hope not.

Having said that, you might be wondering what is the intention of this thread? Well I wanted to know from my fellow Somalis if what I am realizing is something unique to me or something that a lot of Somalis have. As a Somali, I don't like taking instructions and I feel comfortable where everyone is working under decentralized system, no one is above the other lol It is tricky to be a Somali when you can't help but to accept your characters surface in the eyes of people you just knew a couple days lol
