How to remove/reduce/lighten scars?
So recently I had an accident and banged my forehead towards a sharp surface, went to the hospital and got stitches. It has now completely healed but it has left this horrible scar behind. I've been constantly putting bio-oil on it, it has improved the look of it, but seems like it won't make it disappear completely. It truly looks horrible and cant tie my hair back when going out to a wedding or whatever, always have to have a fringe and it's doing my head in and no concealer won't cover it
. I've decided to have a laser surgery to get it completely removed which costs about £200+ I have my consultation next week. Any last minute alternative to remove it or to better the appearance of it would be very much appreciated

If your accident was recent let the skin heal, the scar will fade over time.

no one will look twice don't worry
people will just think 'oh she hurt her head when she was a kid'
that's it.
it'll go away, if people ask just tell them what happened,

Tee, if it's noticeable, just ask the right people. Health advisors and whathaveyou. 200 is a painful amount of money to lose over a scar.

I've heard that pure shea butter is great for scars. You should try it and give it some time. Possibly a few months. It should fade to an unnoticeable degree. If it doesn't, i would say get your laser treatment.

I'd pay anything to get rid of this damn scar. I'd even give up a kidney
It looks so horrible and makes my forehead look big coz when you look at my face its one of the first things you notice. I'm going to do everything in my power to try and get rid of it. - SiennaEarth

It kind of resembles this but not as messy and it's not between my brows, it's all the way up

Feel sorry for you, scars on the face for girls is a sensitive issue, hope the surgery works for you. But why did you let such a sharp object get that close
to your face? Were you running.

No one really sees it as I wear hijab and when I leave my hair out I make sure my hair covers it so people can't see. Only my close friends and family see it, but they all stare at it when in a conversation.Advo wrote:Do people stare at it everytime u hold a conversation?
